Ashwini brothers – cosmic duality of ideas

According to Hindu mythology the Ashvin brothers are twins of the sun god Surya. They have healing abilities and are considered the official doctors of Svarga, one of the intermediary heavens and realm of Indra. Their youth, beauty, health and stamina are considered eternal and with great compassion they help all those in need. They also represent the cosmic duality of ideas and can change their form at will.

The Ashwini brothers are the twin physicians of the gods in Hindu mythology. They are considered the patrons of medicine and are said to be able to heal any illness or injury. The brothers are also associated with horses and are said to be able to ride them at great speeds.
